Introducing the Cast

Here is the sketch that began everything. Peabody and P Weather, plus a title for a game that made me laugh. It was as simple as that.

It wouldnt be until months later that I would write the actual game or develop what the game even was. And along with that came ideas for the larger illustrations and example characters.

None of them had names until days before hitting publish, in my notes they are all monikers. Points to you if you can guess the nicknames. Now at least when I revisit them I can finally list out Teague, B, and Effie as their names. I have a feeling we'll see them again.

If you are wondering why they look how they do, the design of outfits, that is a mix of written concept descriptions from me and reference images. Then Jess actually created the concepts and I always trust her to take creative control for making them look cool and interesting. Later on I will show you the whole start to finish for each of them.
